Bad Lauren!!

I know, I am horrible! I am so busy with posting updates on Facebook, I tend to neglect my little family blog. PLEASE forgive me!

Updates-

This pregnancy still is MISERABLE! I don't have the morning sickness anymore, but basically any form of discomfort you could have with pregnancy.... I have. Acid reflux, stretching pains, TMI ALERT- gas pains, headaches, backaches, neck aches, insomnia, constant bathroom breaks (Lincoln thinks my bladder is a trampoline).... you name it! The only fun thing is how active this little guy is! I swear he is going to come out of my tummy in a full sprint. He is ALWAYS moving. I thought Cannon was an active fetus, but this little guy has dance parties all day. I am so excited to see this little cutie. I can just already tell that he is adorable and fun :)

Love and Logic- If you are a parent, DO IT! You must read up on Love and Logic. My little Cannonball is a total busy body handful! Love and Logic parenting has been amazing for us. He is so polite and well-behaved now. He really is a joy and I can't wait for him to be a good example to his younger brother. I've taken a parenting class and read the book. I am doing all that I can to be a love and logic parent.

Fall- I LOVE the Fall! Its my favorite time of the year. We have done many fall activities and I love this family time that we have together. Its nice to spend time as a family of 3 before our world gets rocked as we become a family of 4 (in about 10 weeks). We have gone up the canyon, played at Cornbelly's, Cannon went and saw his first IMAX 3-D movie....basically lots of photo opportunities for this mama :)

A little OBSESSED

Much like his mommy and her obsession with all things Twilight, True Blood, and cooking- this little guy has some obsessions of his own!

BUZZ LIGHTYEAR! He is going to be him for Halloween. He knows all of Buzz's lines from Toy Story, and he even copies the pivotal scene where Buzz tries to "fly" out the window but falls down the stairs ( this is performed on our Love Sac)

CARS! This will ALWAYS be an obsession for Cannon

THOMAS THE TRAIN! First thing he says when he wakes up and last thing he talks about before he goes to bed. All I hear all day is "Choo-choo- Thomas Mom!" "Thomas is the cheeky one!" That train table and train set is the best investment ever. It keeps him occupied forever!

MCDONALDS, PANDA EXPRESS and CHICK-FIL-A! Every time we pass one, he points them out and begs! He loves his chicken and he only wants to eat at those 3 fast food places....lol.

THE POTTY! No he wont go on it, but boy does he love to get undressed and sit on it! He also loves to flush our toilet and close the lid EVERY TIME we have to go :)

JUMPING, RUNNING AND PLAYING IN THE MUD! What can I say, he is a total boy!

He is at such a fun age right now! I love all of his little "quirks"

Where to begin???? MASSIVE UPDATE

Since this post is going to be FULL of pics, I am going to keep my comments short and sweet :)

Pregnancy :)
~I am 24 weeks now and FINALLY over morning sickness (as of like 18 weeks)
~3 ultrasounds confirm its a boy, so he's still a Lincoln
~I cannot sleep anymore! I am so tired but have the hardest time sleeping (between pee breaks, bad dreams, acid reflux, and discomfort from my c-section with Cannon)
~I have a c-section date for December 14th- but i might schedule one before then. He wont be here later than the 14th though!
~I am still less than my pre-pregnancy weight, which is WONDERFUL

Brian :)
~Brian started a new job and he really likes it! I like that he has something to keep him busy (with good pay and amazing benefits!)
~Brian is now addicted to Arrested Development.... too bad its not on the air anymore- lol
~He can't wait to have 2 little boys in the house hold, he is just loving the age that Cannon is right now

Cannon :)
~Talking and talking and talking some more!
~Is doing really good with Love and Logic parenting
~LOVES going to the aquarium, dino museum, barn, zoo, and kick kick in the water (swimming). We have kept him busy all summer!
~Talks about the baby in mommy's tummy, which I love
~Has been in a big boy bed for a few months now! He is getting sooo big!
~Is still addicted to paci's though! lol.
~Is just the curtest and sweetest little busy boy on earth :) He is such a good boy, but boy he keeps me on my toes!

Other :)
~ Cannon and I went to California to spend time with my family. We then went with my family to Lake Tahoe (what we do every year). Brian couldn't go because of his new job, so it was hard being away from home for 2 weeks! It was great to see family, friends, go to the Train Station, fly on a plane, and go to Disneyland for Cannon's first time! He went swimming a ton and just had a blast. We also went up the 4th of July to Bear Lake with the Hansen/Perry family and had a really nice time :) I have many pics from that outting as well.

I am so sorry I have been such a bad blogger! I have obviously been busy though, so you cant blame me :) lol. I will start posting more.

SHOCKED!

Looks like the Perry family is getting blessed with a second baby BOY! We are shocked and thrilled. My pregnancy has been COMPLETELY different than Cannons. I was not sick a day with Cannon, and I LOOOVED to eat. With this pregnancy, it has been puke filled and miserable to say the least. I could hardly keep food down, and I was down 17 lbs at one point. I cant wait to meet this cute little guy. I want to do a jungle/monkey themed room for him :) Brian picked out his name and we are going to call him Lincoln Gage Perry.

That's the shocking news on the Perry front! I can't wait to have 2 little boys to terrorize me! They will be such good buddies!

Cannon had a blast with the hose and pool outside. Its been in the 80's everyday, so the weather is just too perfect to ignore. I have to admitt, I am slightly (ok- VERY) obsessed with my child. Even though he has major tantrum that make the paint on my walls melt off, he is still the reason for my existance. He is such a boy! I have been so sick with this pregnancy, and he is obsessed with playing outside- so its been nice to spend all day outside to keep both of us happy :)

Fine fine, I will update my blog :)

I have been so sick with 11 weeks of morning sickness, an overly busy child, my countless hours of softball.... no wonder I have lost 15 lbs this first trimester.

So my child is a total boy. When I say he is a boy, I mean he is a BOY! He plays in the mud, colors on furniture (and himself as well as me), he throws balls, grunts, chases trucks, talks about tractors all day, is into extreme wrestling, and just makes messes all day. This little boy is so fun and so exhausting. He has brought such joy into my life and I adore every second with him (except those terrible 2 seconds....I can do without those).

If all continues to go well (this little jelly bean is kicking my butt in sickness and exhaustion), this little one is estimated to arrive in the first half of December. I've gotten many blood results back and my HCG levels are doing great and doubling every 2 days like they should :)
