Halloween Festivities! (from the past week)

We started off with a fun little family night. We bought pizza and had a picnic in the park. We played and came home to carve our pumpkin. Cannon was not a fan of touching the guts in the pumpkin. That surprised me because Cannon LOVES making messes.

Next, we had our ward Trunk or Treat! They had yummy food and lots of fun! Here are some pics of Brian (as Peter Griffin)
Then we headed the next morning to BOO at the ZOO with our good friends the Searles! Cannon loves animals! Other than the fact that it was SUPER crowded and we couldn't move more than 5 feet per minute, we had a nice time! Cannon loves playing with Kenzie and Drew! Cannon and Kenzie were both monkeys and Drew was a banana. Afterwards we got some yummy ice cream and went to Nat's parents house for lunch!

Then came Halloween! We spent the first part of the day at Grandpa Bill and Grandma Linda's! Cannon was not a happy camper for the first part of the dinner, but the second half he was all loves and kisses. He even gave Peter Griffin a kiss on the cheek!
(early on) (much better!)
Then we came home and passed out candy to trick or treaters! Cannon had a total blast doing that! He would sprint to the door, grab a handful of candy, and throw it in the kids bags! He would say "throw" and "thank you" and "buh-bye!" and then slam the door shut! It was hilarious. He found a baseball hat and wore it around the house to answer the door. He was OBSESSED with the candy bowl. I swear he touched every piece of candy that we handed out. Uncle Dana and Auntie Nettie came over to watch a scary movie and hang out. Cannon sat with us and ate his own bowl of popcorn. Then we put him in his Halloween jammies and sent him off to bed!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Another Twilight Clip

With some more scenes.....

I know, I know- I plan on seeking help for this obsession.... maybe sometime after they finish filming Breaking Dawn ; )

Un-Privated

So add me to your google reader!

But heed my warning.... if I get ANYMORE crazies stalking my blog and leaving inappropriate comments about my child, I will gladly turn this blog around and make it reprivatized (google it). I don't care if strangers view my blog and leave me comments (heck, I welcome it), I just want a line drawn between a comment and crazy talk.

Fun day and Twilight

I am going to mix some Cannon pics in with a short Twilight blog!

Here are some pics of Cannon at a little pumpkin activity that we went to with play group. They had a story, a pirate ship, a hay maze, and LOTS of pumpkins!

Twilight is officially less than a month away and I cannot wait! I have already purchased 15 tickets for friends and family for the event. I have also re-read the series and the books honestly get better each time a round. Now I know a lot of you are sick about my slight Twilight obsession (BRIAN!) But I really don't care ; ) Here are some pictures of the cast- stills from the movie, on set, and off set with the cast. I am seriously pumped about the cast. They could not have picked a better Bella. Kristen Stewart is an amazing actress and she is so similar to Bella. I can't wait to see her chemistry with Rob as Edward. I love Robert Pattinson as Edward. I was a little shocked at first because he wasn't my personal Edward- but after seeing the clips, the sparks that he has with Kristen, he is now a AMAZING Edward. Re-reading the books after the cast was announced, I can totally see the characters fitting into place. So enjoy my little slide show, it will help get you pumped for the movie.

BYU alumni~

It was such a blast to play ball with my old teammates again! This past weekend was a real nice change :) I really enjoyed spending quality time with the coaches and my favorite girls. Ive talked about this before, but I have had a hard time getting softball out of my life. College softball was such a huge part of my life, and I will never forget the fun that we had. I am so happy to see all of my old teammates happy, married, popping out kids. Its amazing to think that it was just yesterday when we were on road trips and prank calling the BYU baseball team, or running in the rain in Portland (though I try to forget that).

Here are some pics from the alumni weekend! Cannon was all over Taylor Humbert (Brooke Boyce's little girlie). As you can see, he was practically next to her the whole day and night. It was great to see everyone. I wish more could have made it. I bet we will have a good turn out next year :) (especially now with the BYU softball baby boom)

Updates- Pictures GALLORE

So it has been a super crazy 2 weeks! Brian went out of town on a business trip and left me to fend for myself with a toddler in the TERRIBLE 2's :) He spent a week in Texas training his little bum off for his new company. I think he enjoys taking these little trips alone. He got to eat great, drive a Chrysler 300 as a rental car, stay up late and watch movies, and explore Dallas, Texas. I, on the other hand, stuck to my healthy routine of running the house and taking Cannon on 5 trips to the park a day (on top of our 2 mile daily walks). Cannon and I were lucky enough to spend time with my sweet friend Leslie and her son Harrison at Gardner Village. There, Cannon growled at all of the witches on display. He had never really growled before, so it caught me off guard when he started growling at all of the scary witches. We had a fun little time walking around and playing at the petting zoo. Harrison and Cannon are such cute little buddies.

Cannon and I then hopped on a plane for our October trip to visit family and friends in California. Since my trip had been planned before Brian's, we just missed each other at the airport by a few hours. Cannon misses his daddy soooo much (and I do too!). We landed in Ca and spent the next week going to the zoo with my mom and bff Jaime (and her darling kiddos), we ate at a bunch of restaurants, went to a movie, and Jaime and I had some girl time without the kids and husbands. It was a really nice week. Cannon was better behaved than I thought he would be. He slept pretty well, and has learned a few more words! He also runs the house hold and likes having 3 people (me, my mom, and my dad) doting over his every move. He is SUPER obsessed with animals right now. My moms cat refuses to be in the same room as him, because Cannon can't get enough. My parent have this white rabbit in their backyard that let Cannon sit on it and poke it. It became his new favorite animal. Cannon wanted to spend the whole week outside with the rabbit, he even tried climbing in the rabbits cage a few times.

It was a fun little week, but I am so excited to get home to my husband and house and normality. Hopefully Cannon's good behavior decides to stick with him a bit longer :)
