Fun in the Sun!

Cannon had a blast with the hose and pool outside. Its been in the 80's everyday, so the weather is just too perfect to ignore. I have to admitt, I am slightly (ok- VERY) obsessed with my child. Even though he has major tantrum that make the paint on my walls melt off, he is still the reason for my existance. He is such a boy! I have been so sick with this pregnancy, and he is obsessed with playing outside- so its been nice to spend all day outside to keep both of us happy :)

Boys will be boys!

Fine fine, I will update my blog :)

I have been so sick with 11 weeks of morning sickness, an overly busy child, my countless hours of softball.... no wonder I have lost 15 lbs this first trimester.

So my child is a total boy. When I say he is a boy, I mean he is a BOY! He plays in the mud, colors on furniture (and himself as well as me), he throws balls, grunts, chases trucks, talks about tractors all day, is into extreme wrestling, and just makes messes all day. This little boy is so fun and so exhausting. He has brought such joy into my life and I adore every second with him (except those terrible 2 seconds....I can do without those).

PERHAPS I will post a pic of what the Easter bunny left us.... and you will see why I have been soo absent in my posts lately.....

PS- I know a lot of you already know, but humor me and pretend you are all shocked :)

If all continues to go well (this little jelly bean is kicking my butt in sickness and exhaustion), this little one is estimated to arrive in the first half of December. I've gotten many blood results back and my HCG levels are doing great and doubling every 2 days like they should :)

Cannon had a cute little CARS birthday party! We are so lucky to have great friends and family who helped us celebrate his second birthday. I have been so sad about Cannon turning 2. He is growing up way to fast! I have many things hitting me now- like when to potty train, when to switch to a big boy bed, getting ready for pre-school registration next year, when to give him a little sibling....basically all of these things have hit me at once! It is very overwhelming. Right now I am just focusing on him and having fun! Here are some pics from his birthday party, a mommy and Cannon park day, and some fun around the house play-

Happy 2nd Birthday Cannon Ward Perry!

Cannon blessed our lives at 10:30 am on April 1, 2007. He was 7 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long (not bad for 3 1/2 weeks early). After an intense 20 + hour labor with no dilation and a failed epidural- Cannon was brought into this world via c-section. He had lots of dark hair that stuck up like a mohawk and bright blue eyes from day 1.

Today, Cannon is growing sooo fast! He is already 29 lbs of solid muscle. He loves to run and run and climb and run! He loves swimming, throwing balls, playing with trucks and trains. He has an undying love of CARS, Nemo and Madagascar 2. He is learning his ABC's and talks a ton! He is such a blessing in our lives and we are so thankful for him everyday :) We love you Cannon!
