Everybody walk the Dinsosaurs!

Do you remember that song from back when we were all kids? I LOVED that song. Heck, I was even a cave woman in elementary school for Halloween :)
This week Cannon and I met our friends Leslie and Harrison for a fun little play date at the Ancient History Museum at Thanksgiving Point. I had never been to the museum before, but you better believe I am buying a Thanksgiving Point pass because of all of the great activities there!

The museum was very hands on and loads of FUN! To say Cannon had a complete blast would be a major understatement! I have never seen Cannon more in his element! He kept saying "WOW!" "Wook!" "Oooohh!" and he literally played with everything (even the sites that said 'Do Not Touch' were no match for his giant hands). He also tends to RUN through the museum because there was so much to see.

My camera ran out of batteries, so Leslie was sweet enough to take 200+ pics and send me a ton :) (Thanks Les!). We have so much fun with our little play dates-

Here are some of the pics from the fun day!

Less than 10 seconds.....

This is yet another 'I turn my head for less than 10 seconds' type of a post.

Here are a few from the past....
I turn my head for less than 10 seconds and Cannon ate my chapstick
I turn my head for less than 10 seconds and Cannon uses toothpaste as hair gel
I turn my head for less than 10 seconds and Cannon almost rode his 4 wheeler down our stairs
I turn my head for less than 10 seconds and Cannon used a pen as a phone and wrote all over his face
I turn my head for less than 10 seconds and Cannon sucked on a washable blue marker

this is the latest....

I turn my head for less than 10 seconds, while Cannon is eating his snack, and I hear lots of giggles. I turn around to see what my precious child is laughing about.....

you get the picture

Just Dance!!!

Cannon was being such a goofball today!! Here are some pics of him being silly and a cute little video of his mad dancing skills.

Here he is being cute! (with food on his face)

Here he is yelling "DONT!" at me (his new favorite word)

Here he is doing his cold/angry impression (again, with food on his face)

Here he is rockin out to Lady Gaga

And if you are in the mood to throw bleach in your eyes- here are 2 video's of me dancing from the past..... you can see that Cannon OBVIOUSLY got his dancing skills from his mommy

Guess who's feeling better?

Cannon is!!!! Yay! Finally! Now if we could only get him back on a normal sleep schedule after almost 3 weeks of cold chaos...

LOST!!!!

Okay every once in a while I get an itch to write something to someone...anyone...noone. I've been feeling this way for about two months and have not found anything worth writing about that people would maybe find entertaining or interested. After last night, I found it, and its a little TV show called LOST. Okay so its not that little, in fact its one of the most highly rated TV series ever. And I must say that I am obsessed! I have been waiting 108 days for the new season to start and now that it is almost here I can hardly stand to wait the next few hundred hours before I see it. Just to give you a glimpse into how much I love this show, while I was a Ward Mission Leader each new set of missionaries that came through I told that I am totally happy to help them any way I can except Wednesdays, because I had my LOST to watch. I turn off my phones and require absolute silence while watching. I told Lauren that if she went into labor with Cannon on Wednesday that she had better get to the hospital safely and that I would meet my son after I say hello to Jack and the gang. I get on the Internet after each show and talk to people in China or wherever about that episode. I know I'm a freak, and I think that only cure for LOST is, well, more LOST. So anyone out there that wants to join a fellow Lostie in celebrating the 5th season, lets get together and discuss stuff. And for the rest of you that are not watching LOST, repent because its one of the commandments. (Look it up). This show is so absolutely brilliantly written and creative there had better be a place in heaven for the writers because there is no earthly prize good enough for them. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE 21st! And remember don't call because I will be hanging out with my friends trying to get back to the Island. Oops a spoiler! Thanks for listening folks....Brian
