A Brian Post- TAG! (sorry Cannon)

***WARNING***This post contains no pictures of Cannon. I know you are ALL disappointed. Please forgive me. If you choose not to finish reading this post, it is understandable. I probably wont read it- but it is up to you.***
TAG! This is a fun little survey about my cute husband. Its his birthday tomorrow, and Valentines Day next week- so this is a good chance for everyone to see why I fell in love with him.

What is his name? Brian Ward Perry

How long have you been married? 3 years 2 months

Who long did you date? 8 months

How old is he? he will be 26 tomorrow! (Feb. 7th) Happy Birthday Babe!

Who eats more sweets? I probably do, lol. Not as much anymore though. I get my fixes on healthy sweets.

Who said I love you first? Neta did. Brian and I had only been dating for a week. He called and she answered my phone and pretended to be me. He said he was on his way over and she told him that she (meaning me) loved him. He said "ok".

Who is taller? Brian, unless I am wearing heals.....like 11 inch heals....then we are the same height ;) (he is 6'1 and I am 5'2)

Who can sing better? Brian has the voice of an angel.....I have the voice of a tone-deaf labrador retriever...

Who is smarter? I would have to say me. He is good with History and English, I am good at basically everything else. I am also smart enough to ask for directions or help....he just kinda gets frustrated and breaks things trying to figure them out... typical guy!

Who does the laundry? We both do the laundry, its folding it that is the hard part.

Who pays the bills? That would be me... I am a list writer and I am very on-top of things like that.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Brian does.

Who mows the lawn? We live in an apartment complex- so our landlords do. But Brian said that if I want a big yard, I will be the one to mow it and upkeep it. I mowed lawns with him for the summer when I had a broken hand in a cast. I am gangster.

Who cooks dinner? I always cook (like 4 days a week). That is why we are so large and in charge. Its a curse.

Who drives? He does because he needs me to backseat drive. I mean, who else is going to sit there and tell him to "Look out!" "watch that guy, he is merging" "break...break....BREAK".

Who is more stubborn? For sure him! (I love you honey). He is the King of Stubbornville. He is as stubborn as I am sarcastic.

Who kissed who first? We are waiting until our 10 year wedding anniversary to have our first kiss. Oh this was funny. We were wrestling in my apartment (we had only been dating for a few weeks). It was a blast. Then he leaned forward to kiss me and I just blew air into his mouth. I guess I was caught off-guard. But it really made him mad. He got up to leave and I walked him to his car. Then I had him drive me back to the front door. I leaned over and kissed him. I apologized. It was just so unexpected originally, I wanted to be funny and I responded by doing that. We joke about it and I still blow air into his mouth to be cute. He still thinks its not very funny.

Who asked who out first? He asked me out. :) I am so thankful that he did, because he was such a cute/nice guy. I never really dated anyone outside of the athletic department....and those guys weren't very nice.

Who proposed? We pretty much knew we were getting married. We even had the ring picked out (and most of the wedding paid for). I was called by the jewler and they told me the ring was in. I told them to call Brian and pretend like they never called me. That weekend, I planned some great dates, trying to give him the opportunity to propose. Friday, we went to a romantic dinner, a movie, then to the softball field. I had a taster cake of our wedding cake made up for the occasion. We ate it on the dugout and sat under the stars. Then we danced. He got down on his knees at home plate. I got teary-eyed. He said the next few words that I would never forget..... "just joking." I about killed him! I would have beat him to death if I hadn't already paid for most of the wedding.

The next day I planned dinner at our favorite resturant in Salt Lake. We went to the temple after (where we already had our sealing date). We walked around under the stars. Like 20 different couples were getting engaged around us. I was getting so impatient. We sat on a bench and I had my head in his lap. This was the perfect moment. He reached in his pocked, took my hand, and slid it down my finger. Only there was nothing there. I was LIVID! He then proceeded to tell me that the ring came in, but they made it wrong. He said it was going to take another week or 2. I cried. I pouted on the way to the car, and hardly spoke to him on the ride home. We stopped by 711 for him to get a slurpee. I sat in the car and sulked the whole time. He came back and we proceeded down State St. A cop then pulled us over (as if this night was not any more of a disaster.) The cop said that Brian had a warrant out for his arrest, for not paying a speeding ticket. I was mad because I had told Brian to pay that speeding ticket a month earlier. They handcuffed him and back-up came. There were 2 cop cars and a motorcycle cop around our car. They threw Brian in the back of the cop car and came to harrass me. I started crying and telling the cops that we were supposed to get married and we were just here on a date. He took my id and said I had a warrant for my arrest to, for a speeding ticket that happend like a year before (it was my only speeding ticket). I about died. They had me get out of the car where they questioned me infront of a ton of bystanders now. They turned me around to handcuff me, and Brian was on his knee's behind me with the ring. I hit him and was shaking a ton. It was the perfect proposal. Nothing romantic....lol...but it did surprise the heck out of me. That was hard to do. I am not one who is easily surprised (especially because I designed the ring, was there when they showed it to me in wax, and they called me when it was finished-lol.)

***We have the whole proposal on video. The cop that pulled us over had the whole thing set up with Brian before hand. Right when he stopped us for a busted taillight (which wasnt really busted)- he turned the official police video on. Its about 20 minutes long and it looks like an episode of COPS. I am just happy that I held my composure and didn't cuss up a storm!***

Who has more siblings? Brian (and I adore each and every one of them)

Who wears the pants? Cannon actually wears the pants in the family....

Alright, these people need to spill! I want to hear Katie K, Kim, Amanda, Kacey, Diana, Jennie, Cynthia, Jessica Wilde, Kate, and Mandie, Megan Griffin..... basically ANYONE that is willing to do it :)
